What Career Plus is
Career Plus is the College’s postgraduate career-elective programme. It sits beside the statutory MDS curriculum. It is not a new degree, not a substitute for DCI or MUHS requirements, and not a seat advertisement. Every student who completes it receives a College Career Plus certificate naming the seven modules and the logs actually done. Counted clinical cases start in Year 2.

Structured reporting, DICOM workflow, pathology and AI as a second reader — not a substitute.

Prosthetically driven plans and vital-structure mapping. Not the same log as placement.

Laser dentistry & soft-tissue management
Safety, case selection and supervised laser-assisted soft-tissue procedures.

Clinical oral oncology, OPMD & advanced diagnosis
Suspicious lesions, biopsy–referral pathways, clinicopathological correlation.

Clinical implant placement
Supervised surgical placement at the implant centre. Year 2 onwards.

Microsurgery under the operating microscope
Endodontic, soft-tissue and biopsy work under the DOM. Not microvascular OMFS.

Individual cases and procedures will be assigned by faculty based on student merit, demonstrated competency, case complexity, patient suitability, clinical requirements and faculty guidance. All clinical exposure will remain subject to applicable academic, ethical and statutory requirements.
